Press Council to hold Seminar on Privacy

The Data Protection Commissioner, Mr Billy Hawkes, the businessman Mr Ben Dunne, and the editor of the Irish Daily Mirror, Mr John Kierans, will be among the speakers at a public seminar on privacy being organized by the Press Council of Ireland in Cork on Friday, January 15th.

The aim of the seminar is to generate a challenging and informative exchange of views between media and other professionals and members of the public about important aspects of the relationship between privacy, the press, and the internet.

It will take place in Jury’s Hotel, Western Road, Cork, from 2.00 – 5.00 pm.
